Fisher & Paykel Airvo Tube and Chamber Kit with Nebuliser Adapter (Ref No: 900PT562)

Inquire Now

Warm, humidified respiratory gas is central to modern high-flow nasal therapy, and this kit is the disposable pathway that delivers it. The Fisher & Paykel 900PT562 pairs a heated breathing tube with a water chamber, built for use with the Airvo family of humidifiers. A dedicated nebuliser adapter is included, so inhaled medication can be given without rebuilding the circuit.

Dry, cold gas at high flow can irritate the airway and dry out secretions. This kit conditions the gas on its way to the patient, which helps keep the airway comfortable during long treatment sessions. Hospitals, ICUs, emergency departments, respiratory wards and home-care programmes use this type of circuit to support patients who need steady, well-humidified oxygen.

Shah Trading Corporation, Mumbai supplies the 900PT562 to hospitals, medical distributors, institutional buyers and healthcare projects across India and to international clients.

Key Features

Integrated nebuliser adapter: Give aerosolised medication through the same circuit, with no separate setup.

Heated breathing tube: Helps limit condensation ("rainout") in the line, so the patient receives gas that is warm and moist.

Pre-matched chamber and tube: Components are designed to work together, which simplifies assembly at the bedside.

Auto-fill compatible chamber design: Supports a steady water supply, reducing manual refilling during therapy.

Disposable, single-patient design: Supports infection-control protocols and removes the need for reprocessing.

Designed for Airvo systems: Intended to connect with Airvo humidifiers and compatible Optiflow interfaces.

Quick turnaround for ward staff: Pack contents are arranged for fast, uncomplicated circuit changes between patients.

How It Is Used in the Real World

Prepare the setup. Check that the Airvo unit is placed on a stable surface and the pack is intact and unexpired then Fit the chamber. Slide the chamber into the humidifier's heater plate until it locks in place.
Connect the water supply. Attach a sterile water bag to the chamber's feed line using the method in the IFU, so the chamber fills automatically and Attach the tube. Connect the heated breathing tube between the chamber outlet and the humidifier's electrical connector.
Add the nebuliser adapter when medication is ordered. Insert it into the circuit at the point indicated in the instructions and connect the nebuliser to it.
Join the patient interface. Connect a compatible nasal cannula, then start the device and let it reach its set temperature before fitting the interface to the patient.
Monitor and replace. Watch for condensation and chamber water level during therapy. Replace the kit according to the manufacturer's interval and your hospital's infection-control policy.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes this kit different from a standard oxygen tubing set?

Standard oxygen tubing delivers gas, but it does not condition it. The 900PT562 is part of a humidified high-flow system. The chamber adds moisture, and the heated tube carries the gas to the patient while holding its temperature. That combination is what makes high-flow therapy tolerable for hours or days rather than minutes.

What does the nebuliser adapter actually allow me to do?

It lets a clinician give a nebulised medication during high-flow therapy without disconnecting the patient from the system. Patients on high flow are often the ones who can least afford an interruption in support.

Why does high-flow therapy feel more comfortable with a humidified system?

Dry, high-velocity gas can leave the nose and throat sore and dry. Humidified, warmed gas is much gentler on the airway lining, which is why many patients tolerate it better than dry oxygen.
