Shah Trading Corporation was incorporated in the year 1961 by Mr. Pranlal M. Shah who was the Sole Proprietor of the firm. We first entered in the field of Laboratory and Scientific Instruments by importing instruments like Spectrophotometer, Colorimeter, Barometer, Hydrometer, Chemical Thermometer, etc., from countries like Japan, Italy and USA.

In 1970s, Mr. Pranlal M. Shah who was a visionary and had ideas to expand in other fields as well came in touch with a company TOP CORPORATION based in Japan. The company TOP Corporation was established in 1943 in Japan and they are the largest manufacturers for Disposable Surgical products like TOP Scalp Vein Set, TOP Syringe (in glass and plastic), TOP Injection Needle, TOP 3-way Stopcock, etc. All these products are for infusion delivery to patients in the hospital.

As business expanded and with Mr. Ajay Pranlal Shah (son of Mr. Pranlal M. Shah) joining the company they began importing other brands so as to become the first major importers in the field of Disposable, Surgical and Healthcare market. Importing and introducing branded Medical Supplies in India like Swaromed (now Vermed) from Austria, Leventon from Spain, JMS and Nissei from Japan they expanded their supplies to the entire nation.

Shah Trading Corporation, being the veterans in the field of Disposable Surgical & Healthcare products have been the major suppliers to MCGM Hospitals like K.E.M Hospital, L.T.M.G. Hospital, COOPER Hospital, K.B. Bhabha Hospital, B. Y. L. Nair Hospital and to the biggest private hospitals like Hurkisondas Hospital (Now Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital), Breach Candy Hospital, Bombay Hospital, Lilavati Hospital, and many more.

Expanding their reach globally, after 2019, Shah Trading Corporation have began Exporting Surgical Disposables and Healthcare products to countries like USA, Canada, France, Netherlands, Ghana, Rwanda, Tanzania, China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Nepal.

Exporting surgical disposables and healthcare products in specialties like Anesthesia, Respiratory & Critical Care Range; Infusion & Transfusion Therapy; Healthcare & Diagnostic Equipment; Ostomy & Wound Care Range; Urology & Gastroenterology Range, Hospital Apparels & Rehabilitation Range and many more.
